The blend of simplicity and elegance is carefully balanced.
It's built from laminated mahogany; there isn't much ornamentation here, and the finish is matte.
At the same time, it's a dark, beautiful mahogany, laminate or not.

The EM-FS, which is the instrument's "real" name, is a solid bass, built with serious components, such as a microphone system and preamp from Fishman.
You can also choose a more affordable model with a Shadow preamp.
