Nordic Ukulele – Expertise, Passion and Personal Service

Nordic Ukulele was born from a simple idea: to make high-quality, travel-friendly instruments available to musicians throughout the Nordic region. What started with a passion for the ukulele's versatility has today grown into a niche store for ukulele enthusiasts, guitarists, and bassists on the go.

From a purple ukulele to the Nordic expert store

The journey began with a simple purple ukulele, but the discovery of the instrument's potential quickly led to courses, lectures, and eventually the founding of Nordic Ukulele. Today, the store is run by Marcus, with the goal that every customer should feel the same joy of playing that he did on the very first day. We believe in instruments that last a lifetime, which is why we collaborate with manufacturers who are at the forefront of material selection (like carbon fiber) and innovative design.

Where are we located?

Nordic Ukulele is run with its heart in both Norway and Sweden. Currently, our operations are based in Lillestrøm/Strømmen, but we are in an exciting transition phase where we are optimizing our solutions to serve the entire Nordic region even faster. We are a pure online store, which means we do not have a physical store location you can visit daily. Nevertheless, it is entirely possible to drop by to try an instrument or amplifier you are considering buying. You can also pick up an order you have placed if you live nearby. This is a conscious choice to keep costs down and instead invest in personal service, expertise, and fast deliveries.

How we work (Our promise to you)

When you shop with us, you're not just buying a box from a warehouse shelf. We who work here are musicians ourselves, and we know that details make all the difference.

  • Personal inspection: Every single instrument that leaves us is unpacked and undergoes a manual inspection.

  • Ready-to-play guarantee: We adjust, as far as possible, string height and intonation so that your instrument is optimized and ready to play directly upon delivery.

  • Genuine expertise: Whether you're looking for the perfect carbon fiber guitar for your hike or need advice on the right strings for your acoustic bass, you'll get answers based on our experience.

Logistics and transport

We want your purchasing experience to be as smooth as your joy of playing. Therefore, we work with well-thought-out logistics:

  • Strategic warehousing: We combine our own warehouse with close partners to ensure that we always have the right products in stock.

  • No customs within Norway: For our Norwegian customers, goods are shipped domestically. This means fast delivery without unexpected import duties or customs fees.

  • Secure shipping: We pack your order within 24 hours on weekdays and collaborate with reliable partners such as [Bring/Posten]. We never skimp on packaging – your new treasure should withstand the journey all the way home to you.
