Flight's small basses are relatively new to the market.
At the same time, this entire product group is new. It wasn't long ago that mass-produced, solid 23" electric basses were unavailable to the average consumer.
The "Mini Bass Lite" models are the newest. A little simpler, a few fewer expensive details. And cheaper.
From a distance, they look like a regular jazz bass. An electric bass model that, for many, is the only bass model they know and have experience with.
And without getting caught up in the details... This bass sounds and behaves and is largely built like a regular jazz bass. But in a smaller format.

This bass is both a ukulele bass and a regular electric bass, albeit in miniature size.
The size makes it a ukulele bass, but almost everything else makes it a traditional electric bass.
Like the microphone system with two Alnico 5 P-Style microphones.
Or the Hardtail string attachment.
These are details often seen with much larger basses.
This allows you to use regular bass strings on this bass. Which opens up a wide range of possibilities.
Most standard/medium 45-105 roundwound fits.
