Sigma's 15SE-AGED is part of the 15 series. A guitar series where strong colors and shapes have given way to more natural expressions. With the 15-Aged guitars, the idea was to produce a series of guitars that look old and worn from the factory.

15SE-AGED is more or less exclusively built from mahogany. The lid is made of solid mahogany.

Guitars designed to look old and worn are nothing new. But it is probably still considered a bit exotic.
Then it's a matter of taste. Some people like this kind of design. Others do not.

15SE-AGED is made almost entirely of mahogany. Of which the lid is solid mahogany.

The scale/scale of 24.75" is reminiscent of that of a classical guitar. So the guitar is large enough to feel like a regular steel string, but at the same time small enough to be easy to carry and travel with.
