Warm tone with solid cedar
The heart of the OF422 is the solid top crafted from selected cedar (Solid Cedar). Cedar is cherished by guitarists for its ability to deliver a warm, mature tone right away, without the long "break-in period" that spruce often requires. This makes it particularly well-suited for fingerstyle playing and players who prefer a rounder and more harmonious sound.
Grand Auditorium body with Wedge design
The OF422 is a Grand Auditorium model, providing more fullness and volume than smaller travel guitars. The patented Manzer-style "Wedge" body makes the guitar deeper at the bottom for maximum resonance, but narrower at the top where your arm rests. This provides an ergonomic design that allows you to play for hours without fatigue, while maintaining a large soundscape.
Travel without worries
With the patented Overhead system, you can disassemble the guitar in under 20 seconds. The included specially designed travel bag is built to meet the carry-on requirements of most airlines. You avoid the risk of checking in a valuable wooden instrument and can instead keep it safely with you in the cabin.
Natural acoustic amplification
The guitar comes pre-assembled with the JourneyTek 3-piezo passive pickup system. This system captures the natural resonance from the cedar top in a transparent and honest way. Since it is a passive system, you never have to worry about batteries – just plug into an amplifier and you're ready for the stage.
