The Journey Instruments OF312 Overhead+ is designed for musicians who demand the natural and rich sound that only solid wood can provide. By combining a solid Sitka spruce top with solid African mahogany for the back and sides, Journey has created an instrument with a mature, balanced, and powerful voice that only improves the more you play it.
Patented technology for the modern traveler
At the heart of the OF312 is its award-winning detachable neck system. In seconds, you can disassemble the guitar and pack it into the included premium backpack. The backpack is specifically designed to fit perfectly in an airplane’s overhead compartment and also features dedicated compartments for a laptop, tablet, and other travel essentials.
Ergonomics and playability
Despite its compact travel form, the OF312 features a body with a Manzer Wedge design. This means the guitar body is narrower at the top than at the bottom, making it incredibly comfortable to hold against your body while also increasing internal volume for a deeper bass response. With a nut width of 44.5 mm (1 3/4"), it feels just like a full-size guitar for your fingers.
Stage-ready
The OF312 comes pre-installed with the JourneyTek Passive 3-piezo pickup system. This system captures the natural resonance of the wood without the need for batteries, providing an honest and transparent reproduction when connected to an amplifier or PA system.
