Kala
Archtop Tenor
Archtop Tenor
Kalas Archtop consists of not one, but five different models.
They have a lot in common.
The shape, size, f-holes, electronics (UK-300TR), fretboard and similar details are identical. They are well-built, sound strong, and Kalas' thoughts and hopes are that these are particularly well-suited for performing jazz music.
We have tested them. It is perfectly possible to play songs by both Cornelis Vreeswijk and Lillebjørn Nilsen on them.
KA-JTE-LSBL - has an unmistakable metallic blue lacquer that brings to mind both vintage cars and smoky jazz clubs.
KA-JTE-CHRD - is painted in metallic red.
KA-JTE-BKGN - is painted in metallic green/turquoise.
KA-JTE-KZGD - is painted in metallic gold.
KA-JTE/2TS - is painted in sunburst and also has a spruce top.
