Ok, so this is an electric bass with a 23 inch scale - Is it a bass for kids or actually a good travel friendly bass?
The answer is resoundingly…both.
The small size, with short neck etc. is suitable for children and small hands. So this could definitely be a young bassist's first bass.
But first and foremost, it is a full-grown bass in travel format.
Those who already play the ukulele bass will recognize it. But even those coming from a full size electric bass "get into the game" pretty quickly.
The fingerboard is not much narrower than many other basses on the market and the sound here is not much different from a typical electric bass sound.
