Mr Mai MA-Aer built from koa with an okume wood neck. The body is completely free of borders and similar inlays, apart from the discreet rosette which is laser engraved.

That makes MA-A both simple and elegant. The solid koa gives a warm sound. A bit more creative in its character than mahogany.

The MA-A has a neck that is comfortable to play and is well intoned.

Mr Mai is known for his idiom and decorations, where you often think outside the box. But just as much to produce solid ukuleles that are nice to play and that sound good.
The MM-A is among the least ornate models. On the "body" side there is a simple rosette (ring around the soundhole) but that's it. No borders, no inlays, just a solid mahogany case.
The "neck and head part" has some simple but interesting decorations in the form of leaves. The special thing is that these can be found both on the fingerboard and the headstock. A small detail, but all the more effective for those who notice it.

The MA-30 has the same specifications but is made of koa wood.
