UBASS-EBY is built from ebony and has a mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of bay wood.
Rosette and some bindings are made of maple wood, a nice contrast to the dark.
Otherwise, there are not many decorations and ornaments here. The chair is made of rosewood and the saddle is made of Graph Tech TUSQ®, a type of hard plastic.
The strings here are rubber/silicone strings. "Road Toad Pahoehoe" to be exact. They are of a higher quality than the rubber strings supplied on many other ukulele bases.
The microphone system is from Fishman.
In other words, a more lavish and "serious" system than what you see on many other ukulele basses.
UBASS-EBY is available in a couple of variants. One with rosewood fretboard and one with walnut. There are also roundwound strings here as an option.
These have a somewhat longer delivery time.
