With the resurgence of the "Le Hot Jazz" tradition, the Gypsy Jazz series was designed to meet the needs of these stalwart performers and innovators. These perfectly balanced sets are best suited for the driving percussive rhythm style called "la pompe".
Gypsy Jazz strings use a silk and steel construction. High quality silver plated copper wire, hand wound over an interlayer of pure Italian silk filament and an inner steel core. These strings are preferred by Gypsy Jazz guitarists for their soft feel and mellow tone, and have less tension than standard steel, bronze or brass strings.
