If you're looking for a beautiful ukulele that doesn't have too much "bling-bling", then this could be something for you.
The MC-30 has a case built from solid koa and a neck from okume, which is a proven material. Here there is enough border/inlay to make it elegant and beautiful, but not so much that it is exaggerated. It's not a designer ukulele, even if it says Mr. Mai on it.

Mr Mai is known for his idiom and decorations, where you often think outside the box. But just as much to produce solid ukuleles that are nice to play and that sound good.
The MC-80 is a workhorse, is one of the few models in this price segment from Mr. Mai that does not have any strong colors or special design. It is nice to look at, but otherwise you are offered only what is needed in a stable, good-sounding ukulele, nothing more and nothing less.
The lid consists of glossy lacquered, solid koa and has a clear cutaway.
Here there are rosettes and some simple inlays.
Edges and corners are even & smooth and it is clearly noticeable that this is a luxury ukulele. The MS-80 has a good neck, just as you would expect from Mr. Mai.
The tuning screws are of a simple, open but stable type.
The MC-30 comes with a beautiful hard case. This is available in several colors. Choose your color or let us do it.
