The Flights Mini JB PP Bass is quite new to the market. This entire category of basses is new.
Meaning ukulele basses that have a 23" scale length, a solid body, magnetic pickups, and steel strings.
Something that was almost unthinkable a few years ago.
The Mini JB PP Bass has a traditional design and can, from a distance, almost be mistaken for a "regular electric bass".
Whether this even falls into the ukulele bass category is debatable.
There is a certain delivery time for this item.

This bass is both a ukulele bass and a regular electric bass, albeit in miniature size.
The size makes it a ukulele bass, but almost everything else makes it a traditional electric bass.
Like the microphone system with two Alnico 5 P-Style microphones.
Or the Hardtail string attachment.
These are details often seen with much larger basses.
This allows you to use regular bass strings on this bass. Which opens up a wide range of possibilities.
Most standard/medium 45-105 roundwound fits.
