Mr. Mai is known for his design language and decorations, where you often think outside the box. But just as much for producing solid ukuleles that are comfortable to play and that sound good.

The MS-80 is a solid soprano ukulele. A case entirely made of solid koa produces a powerful sound that penetrates the soundscape. This, in combination with the long neck (which has 18 frets instead of the usual 15 for sopranos), makes the MS-80 a very flexible soprano ukulele.

The ukulele is delivered with an exclusive hard case. Choose your color or let us do it for you.

Mr. Mai has chosen to offer a solid model with a body and sides made of koa. There is also a soprano with a so-called longneck, i.e. a neck that is as long as a concert ukulele.
The MS-80 has a mosaic-like inlay on the "regular frets" on the fingerboard, but has no borders, rosettes, or other decoration. As a Mr. Mai ukulele, it is quite unusual. Here you will find only what is needed for a grown-up ukulele sound.
The tuning screws are of a simple, open but stable type.
