AUT10-OPEN
These are built mainly from a block of wood, from paulownia wood that has been made hollow with the help of a router (simply described) and on top they have put a lid of sapell.
But what distinguishes these ukuleles the most from other ukuleles is the sound hole, which is not on the lid, but on the sides. There are two so-called direct holes.

The Ibanez AUT10-OPN is a ukulele that looks special. From the front, with its sapell top, it almost resembles a violin. Meanwhile, the "paulownia wreath" makes it look like something else entirely.
I would bet that you either like this a lot - or not at all.
In terms of sound, comfort and build quality, this is a fairly standard ukulele.
The two direct holes do not affect as much as you might think.
Tuning screws and other details are of good quality.
