Schwarz JOY HARP Series – A Classic Jaw Harp for Every Nuance of Sound
Expand your musical horizon with an authentic, European jaw harp! The Schwarz Original Black Jaw Harp (JOY HARP) series comes from the traditional manufacturer in Austria and is known for its exceptional build quality and clear sound.
This is the perfect jaw harp for those who want to explore Nordic folk music, improvise rhythms, or simply have a unique instrument to relax with.
Choose Your Sound – Five Sizes, Five Unique Tones
Unlike many other instruments, it is the size of the jaw harp that determines its unique tonal character and pitch. The five sizes in the JOY HARP series are designed to give you a complete spectrum of sound possibilities:
-
No. 6 (Extreme Treble): The smallest model, which produces the brightest, sharpest and fastest tone. Ideal for high, sparkling sound effects and lightning-fast rhythm.
-
No. 8 (High Treble): A bright and fast-playing jaw harp. Excellent for fast, rhythmic playing styles and clear, bright melodies.
-
No. 12 (Mid-Bright): Lies between treble and standard. Provides a good balance between tonal clarity and fullness, perfect for melodic playing.
-
No. 14 (Standard): The most popular and versatile size. Offers a full, balanced tone that suits most playing styles and is easy for beginners to learn.
-
No. 15 (Deep Bass): The largest model in the series. It delivers a dark, warm bass tone with long sustain, ideal for meditation, deep rhythms, and rich backing tones.
