Yoseng - HX001 is a pineapple-shaped soprano ukulele made of mango wood. A rosette/ring around the sound hole is the only available decoration.
But playing on it is something else. Here is a tone and a sound that rarely occurs on soprano ukuleles in this price range. The notes ring for a long time, even on the high bands, and you have to play hard to produce a rattle and crackle.
The HX001 sounds very nice and very good. The sound is a bit harsh. The sound volume is also large, so this ukulele will penetrate the sound of other ukuleles quite well. It is also very good to play loosely and carefully on this one. Strike a string - and it sounds clear and long.
The reverberation (sustain) of the Yoseng - HX001 is very good, especially for a ukulele in this price range.

HX001 is simply built. Mango wood in lock, sarg och botten. There are no borders or inserts of any kind around the edges. There is a rosette/ring around the sound hole and it has inlays of mother-of-pearl. Stylish and neat.
The stand is made of synthetic rosewood. The fingerboard is also made of synthetic rosewood and has simple markings on the usual frets, both on the front and on the side. The stem screws are of the usual, closed, chrome type.
Yoseng is good at making necks. The necks intonate well and withstand strong impacts without making noise.
