The Roos Prisma MM T8 is an 8-string tenor. It has a larger split head similar to what is common on Spanish guitars. We've made the neck a bit neater and thicker than usual, which makes it easier for big hands and guitar converts.
The thin varnish means that you can clearly see and feel the structure of the slightly rough mahogany and the plain and smooth maple.
Mahogany gives a soft sound, while maple is often associated with a slightly harder sound. Here you get the best of both worlds. Prisma has a timbre that can penetrate the soundscape. The Prisma T8 performs particularly well in orchestral contexts.
