Tenor ukulele - Cedar - 6-string
SCAC-T6
From a distance, the Kala KA KA SCAC T6 looks like a fairly standard tenor ukulele. Lacquered with cedar wood lock and acacia body. An elegant and at the same time quite traditional ukulele.
If you look more closely at it, you discover two extra strings.
Here, the first and third strings are doubled, but each an octave string. The result is a sound and a sound image that brings to mind mandolins, 12-string guitars and, of course, 8-string ukuleles.

Kala KA KA SCAC T6 is part of the "Gloss Solid Cedar Top Acacia Ukulele" series and here are several unusual ukuleles. Among other things, this sex string.
What is the finesse with such ukuleles?
The two extra strings double the first and third strings of the ukulele and sound an octave lower. Now you get a significantly wider and fuller sound than the traditional ukulele. But not quite as "heavy" a sound as 8-strängade can sometimes be experienced.
This looks, feels and is experienced as something between a traditional ukulele and an 8-string.
