This ukulele is among the items in Ortega's Tourplayer series.
The instruments in this series are, as the name suggests, instruments that are well-suited for travel.

The back and sides consist of one single piece of Okume wood with a hollowed-out cavity. The top is a separate piece of wood, made of spruce.

Apart from this and the lack of a traditional soundhole, the Ortega RTPS-U is a rather traditional ukulele, with traditional details and shapes.
Ortega has equipped the RTPS-U with a good preamp and microphone system and a high-quality gig bag.
