The UTS-40 is part of Flight's Ultra Travel Series.
Plastic ukuleles have been much debated over the years.
Many early models were poor, but much has happened on the plastic ukulele front in recent years.
Flight, of course, has a couple of good models.
Here, they've gone all out when it comes to design. Not in terms of inlays and rosettes, but with motifs that fill the entire top.

In a way, this is a completely normal ukulele. A good and comfortable neck and a ukulele that sounds about as good and strong as other ukuleles in the same price range.
The only difference is that this ukulele is more or less entirely made of plastic. Also the frets and fingerboard.
Putting aside the fact that it's never going to sound as good as a solid koa ukulele, there's almost nothing here.
The ukulele is not affected by humidity and temperature, with all that entails. It can withstand a little rough treatment.
You can even leave it out in the rain overnight without a problem.
This opens up many possibilities.
